Where are you located?

12900 NW 38th Avenue, Opa-Locka, FL 33054. Location and directions.

What are your hours of operation?

Our refinery is open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and our trading desk is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Please call for special arrangements outside of these normal business hours.

Can I schedule a visit to the refinery?

Absolutely, any customer may witness their material being processed at any time. For more useful information please check the Visiting RMC section.

What should I expect during a visit?

You will be asked to be checked-in by security and to remove all jewelry. In order to enter the refinery, you must have sturdy, closed-toed shoes and wear all required personal protection equipment. For more information please check the Visiting RMC section.

How is the metal assayed for purity?

Initial x-ray analysis is performed upon receipt of material; this is followed by a more comprehensive fire assay. Details of this process can be found in our corporate video and also in the section Assaying.

What material you do not handle?

How can I set up an account with RMC?

Republic Metals has very stringent guidelines for accepting clients. To begin the application process, potential clients must fill out the required compliance documentation. For more information please visit the My Account page.

When can I price pooled metal?

9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. Margin requirements may apply.

What is the minimum number of fine ounces I can lock in to sell to RMC?

There are no minimums. Good-Til-Cancelled orders and Day orders do have minimum orders associated:

 

  • 100 oz. Au (Gold)
  • 5,000 oz. Ag (Silver)
  • 50 oz. Pt (Platinum)
  • 100 oz. Pd (Palladium)
How long do I have to fulfill my ounces that I have locked in?

As noted in the Standard Terms & General Operating Conditions, sellers have a maximum of ten (10) business days to fulfill outstanding contracts. Margin requirements may apply.

What is your premium for coins?

It varies according to the type of coin, supply and demand, as well as the type of transaction (tolling or a direct purchase). Please call our trading desk for up-to-the-minute rates.

What are your premiums for bullion?

We have very competitive premiums. Please call us for a quote and you will not be disappointed!

When can I expect payment for my metal?

Settlement time will be discussed in your terms when you set up an account with us.

 

  • RMC prides itself on rapid turn-around times.
  • An advance can be offered to clients depending on metals type, upon receiving your metal shipment and preliminary analysis of it.
  • The final portion of your settlement will be paid after fire assay analysis.
What will I be charged for the transaction?
  • Wire fees: $30 Domestic – $50 International
  • Checks mailed overnight via Fedex or USPS: $20
  • Checks mailed via standard mail: Free!
